Updated: Jul 18

Money. It seems like everyone has a complicated relationship with it. We live in a world where money is often associated with negative connotations - greed, envy, and a struggle to obtain it. But what if I told you these very beliefs are impacting your subconscious financial well-being?

If you've ever felt like something is blocking your path to financial abundance, you're not alone.

The Influence of Subconscious Beliefs on Money

Growing up, many of us have been exposed to sayings like "money is the root of all evil" or seen wealthy characters as villains in movies. These subtle messages can create deep-seated beliefs that money is connected to being bad or immoral.

As a result, we unintentionally push away money and limit our financial abundance because we don't want to be associated with that negativity. This internal conflict can hinder our ability to fully embrace wealth and all the opportunities it can bring.

What are Money Affirmations and How Can They Help?

Recognizing the importance of reshaping our relationship with money is key. But how do we actually do that? This is where money affirmations come in. They are positive statements that you repeat to yourself with the intention of shifting your mindset toward financial abundance. Say "I love money," "I love having money," and "I love the life that money can afford me," and you will begin to break free from those negative associations. These affirmations become powerful reminders of the blessings and opportunities that money can bring us, our loved ones, and our communities.

like these affirmations lead to positive beliefs, which lead to more clarity about wealth and how to obtain it. It's easy to get caught in a cycle of stress and worry about money. But when you incorporate money affirmations into your daily routine, you may notice a significant shift not just in your financial situation, but in your overall mindset towards money.

How to Create Your Own Money Affirmations

Creating your own money affirmations is easy. Here are some steps to help you get started:

  1. Identify Your Financial Goals: What do you want to achieve? More savings, less debt, a better-paying job? Be specific.

  2. Brainstorm Positive Affirmations: Turn your goals into positive, present-tense statements. For example, "I am attracting wealth and abundance" or "Money flows to me easily and effortlessly."

  3. Repeat Daily: Consistency is a must. Repeat your affirmations daily. You may repeat them while you're making coffee in the morning, during your commute, or before you drift off to sleep at night. Just make sure you are consistent.

When you repeat your affirmations, focus on feeling the emotions of security, joy, and gratitude that come with financial abundance.

My Journey with Money Affirmations

For me, I started with affirmations like, "I am a money magnet" and "I have the power to create the life I desire." At first, it may feel a bit silly, but over time, I started to truly believe these statements and saw significant changes in my life.

I wouldn’t have been able to become a Single Mom by Choice if I was stuck in a scarcity mindset, always worried about bills and expenses. I would be missing so much if I didn’t have my affirmations.

If you're skeptical about them, I get it. A lot of people are too. But there's no harm in trying something new, especially if it can potentially improve your life. Adding money affirmations to your routine can be that extra boost you need to unlock financial abundance.

Remember, this is a journey. Give money affirmations a try and watch how your mindset—and your financial situation—begins to shift.

Here's to your journey of financial empowerment and abundance!
